Last Saturday I came across an interesting article in howstuffworks.com. I'm sure most of you have already hear about this website. For those who haven't I'll tell that it's a website about how-stuff-works. It has all sorts of articles about technical stuff and how-to's and well, get to know it. It's good.

Standard solution hardly exist.
Around year 2000, I worked for a startup company that tried to develop a standard e-commerce arena for the internet. When started selling the product, they ended up configuring it specifically for every client. This of course took longer than initial product development and eventually got them vanished.
Examples like this are abundant and it's not hard to understand why. Customers are different.
